So there are these things called dailies. Or Daily'z as I call them. its an Artist challenge to draw one comic a day for a whole year. But there are rules.

Rulez of the Daily Sketch Book

1. The Sketchbook must be STRICTLY designated for short comics

2. All Comics need some sort of conclusion. NO TO BE CONTINUED's

3. No Character / Background / Etc. Sketching. ONLY Comics

4. Date EACH comic

5. If the Comic is late write LATE near the title / top of the page

6.  If you Skip / miss a day, draw a large "X" on the page.

7. Each Day gets it Own Page

Front Page for the comic itself the back of the page can be used to plan or thumbnail.
You do not need to plan your comic if you dont want to.

8. Comic MUST be inked

9. Comic MUST be in Inking stage in order to be late

Comics are late if the clock strikes 12am and you aren't finished.

So yea those are the rules...I started 3 last month...but then Life pretty much punched me in the face and I wasn't able to really get any done. Mainly because of school and work. But im going to try and get back on the ball...

Some Say the Greatest family photo is a natural one...Even when no one is looking in the Camera.

This mock photo is my attempt to get back into posting regularly. I'm finally, basically, practically out of my Art dump and I have been working on quite a bit of art pieces and comics.

First and formost. I will not BS. I haven't really been working on Cosmic Hopscotch. Personal reasons stop my creative process. This story is very close to me and the characters even closer. In Fact...CH was part of the reason I went into an Art Block to be honest. As horrible as that sounds. But it seemed to be a Blessing in disguise as some say. Because it pushed me to work on other Comics and even Re-create old Stories as well as new stories.

Simple Quest: Chains of Twilight is one that Definitely got a boost.

With Simple Quest, I have been drawing a good two pages a week. But haven't uploaded them. I want to create a website for it, so i can have a place for the full Archive that is easily navigable oppose to here, DeviantArt or Tumblr. But here is what you can expect to see.

Yea...pretty messed up. Anyway. I've also been working on a Super Hero story called "The Oriole." 

The Oriole, is a Story about a girl named Sylvia Monet Snow, who has Sickle Cell Anemia.

(10 minute crap sketch. Better Ref sheet WILL be drawn soon)

After a medical treatment to prevent further Sickle Cells crises', she begins to have unusual side effects. including the ability to alter her own blood and control frequency waves. 

And Lastly for this Post. I revamped an Old story called "Baby-Bear." Which is now known as "Mestizo Rojo - The Red Mongrel" 

Mestizo Rojo - The Red Mongrel, is a Western type story that follows a Bounty-Hunter named Zekail Mc'Loud. The orignal was called Baby-Bear, and I wrote it (terribly) at age 10 when I first seen the Movie "Tombstone." Tombstone came out when I was 5 years old but my Grandfather wouldn't let me watch it till i was 10. The Comic is still in early stages and I'm fleshing the story out more. so until then. Enjoy a few of the Characters involved.

I'm gonna be honest and not bullshit my way through this post. Shit has been rough for me up until the end of 2012. Most of the projects I guaranteed would be up on their due date somewhat fell through. A lot of scripting and writing was done but not much art. To be Honest I'm just now slowly but surely getting out of an Art Slump and Depression. And with that being said in the middle of the 3rd month of the New Year. 2013 for me will be a Time for me to shine as an Artist and show off my Work. I've had problems with not liking my style, or thinking i'm crap and comparing myself to others way better than me and giving up, so much so that it caused me to sink into an abyss of mental struggle. But because of a new perspective on life and a new Wonderful person in my life. I've remember why I Love drawing...and more importantly...Got back to doing what i Love...simply because I Love to and passionate about it. I just need to not lose sight of that, and stop judging myself so harshly. I am talented and funny. i shouldn't hide that from the world. So..i'm gonna start posting my Art and drawing more.
